Two PSD candidates withdraw from the race in Lezha

Two candidates for MPs of the Social Democratic Party in Lezha, Leonard Trokthi and Etmond Stojani, have resigned from running in the May 11 parliamentary elections.
The two candidates on Doshi's party's open list have submitted their resignations to the CEC.
"Due to the current inability to engage in the election campaign, I submit my irrevocable resignation from the candidacy," reads the document submitted to the Central Election Commission by each of them.
Leonard Trokthi and Etmond Stojani were 2 of the 7 candidates on the PSD's open list in Lezha.
Despite their resignation, their names will continue to remain on the ballot that will be used in the May 11 elections in this district.
