Pies filled with olives and cottage cheese are a very easy and quick recipe to prepare.

To prepare it, there is no need to use any type of bread maker, so its preparation time will be very short.

You can choose to fill the pies with whatever you want, but Alfapress.al suggests filling them with cottage cheese and pieces of olives.

Below, Alfapress.al explains step by step how you can prepare this wonderful recipe.

The ingredients

220 ml of cooking cream

50 ml of milk

300 grams of flour

1 teaspoon of salt

100 g of cottage cheese

A few pitted olives

Frying oil

Preparation

In a deep container, pour the panna, milk and salt, mixing them together until the salt melts.

Start adding the flour little by little to the bowl, stirring it carefully so that it does not form lumps.

When you finish all the amount of flour and the created mass has taken the shape of the dough, remove it from the bowl and start working it with your hands.

Be sure to sprinkle some flour as you work the dough so it doesn't stick.

When you see that the dough is ready with a rolling pin, lay out a large 1 cm thick patty.

Then, with a glass or cup with a diameter of 8 cm, start cutting circular shapes from the dough.

In the meantime, you can also prepare the filling by mixing the cottage cheese with the olives cut into small cubes.

Place the curd filling in the circles of dough one by one using a small spoon.

Then brush the edges of the dough with a little milk and fold it in the shape of a crescent.

When you are closing the pies, use a fork to kiss the dough well, but without tearing it.

Heat the oil in a deep pan and start frying the patties.

Turn them from time to time, taking care not to burn them, and leave them on fire until you see that they have taken on a golden appearance.

After frying, place on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

If you wish, you can add a little salt on top and eat them warm.
