Spectacular performance by Salah-Muçi and Trabzonspor, Galatasaray champions suffer first defeat

A night to remember for Trabzonspor and a nightmare for reigning champions Galatasaray. The Black Sea team triumphed with a resounding 4-0, inflicting Galatasaray's first defeat of the season in the Turkish Super Lig.

The absolute protagonist of this challenge was Mohamed Salah. The striker played a spectacular match, scoring a hat-trick and providing an assist, to be declared the undisputed player of the match.

Ernest Muçi also made an important contribution to this magnificent victory. The Albanian national team's fantasy player put in a very positive performance, which was also reflected in SofaScore's statistics. Muçi was rated 7.4, being the second most rated player on the field, right after Salah. However, his performance was interrupted in the 59th minute, when he was called to the bench to be replaced. It remains to be seen whether this decision came as a result of some physical discomfort, or whether it was simply a tactical choice by the coach to manage his energies at a moment when the result was assured.

On the other hand, this heavy defeat for Rafael Leao's Galatasaray could cost the champions dearly. They risk losing the top spot, which could pass to Dusan Vlahovic's Besiktas, who will take the field against Amedspor tomorrow.
