Jan Prenga's disappearance/Dritan Rexhepi: I don't know Gentian Funiq, I will prove it with evidence

A court hearing was held this Thursday at the GJKKO for Dritan (Gramoz) Rexhepi and co-defendants, accused of the kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga.
In his speech, Dritan Rexhepi denied knowing Gentian Funiq, alias Doda, with whom he is suspected of having given the order for the kidnapping of Jan Prenga.
Dritan Rexhepi also explained that at the time the incident occurred, he was in the Prato prison, in high security, due to a trial in the Florence Appeal Court.
"I was in high security in the Prato prison after I had my appeal in Florence and was detained for 10 days. I don't know him, because I have never seen Gentian Funiq in my life. I will prove this to the prosecutors with the following evidence ," Dritan Rexhepi declared.
Meanwhile, in today's session, the defendants' lawyers objected to the documentary evidence presented by the Special Prosecution Office.
In the previous session, SPAK presented written evidence to the court, totaling 13 pages. Among them, the crime scene inspection reports and the expert report showing the compatibility of the DNA obtained from the blood stains at the scene with those of Jan Prenga's mother.
SPAK prosecutors also claimed that through video footage seized from several businesses, the route followed by the vehicle in which Jana Prenga was forcibly entered was documented. Through the footage, it was proven that the victim was kept under surveillance for several days before the incident, where the suspects' Land Rover vehicle followed the victim's vehicle on January 15, 16 and 17.
Jan Prenga was kidnapped in January 2020 in Kamëz. After the kidnapping, he was taken to the "Golden" complex in Shijak, owned by Altin Hajri, where Festim Bixhdili worked as a gardener.
According to security camera footage, Jan Prenga is suspected of being raped to death and the body is suspected to have been disposed of in the village of Pjezë, very close to the complex, while the body has not yet been found.
The kidnapping came after Jan Prenga's brother stole a container of drugs in the UK. According to SPAK, Festim Bexhdili knew where Jan Prenga's body was buried, but did not reveal it.
According to the Special Prosecution Office, the order for the kidnapping of Jan Prenga was given by Dritan (Gramoz) Rexhepi and his co-defendant Gentian Funiqi (Doda), the organization was done by the defendants Martin Bleta and Korado Keshteja, while the execution of the kidnapping was done by the defendants Artan Doçaj, Aldo Majnishta, Geraldo Martini and another unidentified person.
The order to kidnap Jan Prenga was given while Rexhepi was imprisoned in Ecuador, in Latin America, and was intended to coerce Prenga's brother, who had stolen a quantity of cocaine trafficked from Ecuador to England. The Prenga family also negotiated with the kidnappers and part of the cocaine was handed over, but in the meantime Jan Prenga had lost his life.
