Balance of fires in the country/ 24 fires in 24 hours, 7 remain active

24 fires have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours, while 7 of them remain active and 2 others are under monitoring.
According to the National Civil Protection Agency, the situation is being managed through ground and air interventions, with a focus on isolating hotspots and protecting residential areas.
Main active foci
Dajti Mountain, Tirana – The fire continues to be active on both sides of the ridge, but the situation is under control. The operation to isolate the fire continues with operational forces, supported by 50 AF personnel and a helicopter. There is no reported danger to residential areas.
Vakumone, Tirana – The situation is under control and the outbreak has been isolated. There is no risk to homes, while the Priska area continues to be monitored.
Gurë-Lurë, Dibër – One of the largest firefighting operations continues. 180 municipal forces, 14 police officers, 30 armed forces and two Air Tractor aircraft are engaged in the field. The open corridors have helped to stop the spread of flames towards the homes. The operation continues to completely isolate the hearth.
Qafë Helmës, Dibër/Bulqizë – The fire has been extinguished on the Bulqizë side, while it remains active in the direction of Selishte. There is no danger to residential areas.
Bruç, Mat – The intervention continues in a rocky and difficult terrain. The operation has been reinforced with 30 members of the Armed Forces. No danger to homes is reported.
Lufaj, Mirditë – The fire remains active, but with low intensity and with slight advancement. The structures of the Ministry of Environment, Police, Forest Service, municipal forces and residents are working on the ground, supported by a helicopter, two firefighting vehicles of the Armed Forces and 9 military personnel.
Fushë-Lajë, Pukë – The operation continues in difficult terrain, while the wind has favored the spread of flames towards the forests of Tërbun and Gjegjan. 3 firefighting vehicles, 9 MZSH officers, 10 Forest Service employees, 40 local forces, 15 volunteers, 30 AF officers and two helicopters are engaged in the field. There is no danger to residential areas.
Overall, the situation remains under control , with most outbreaks isolated or under control. Authorities report that there is currently no risk to residential areas in the main active outbreaks .
The National Civil Protection Agency continues to continuously monitor the situation throughout the territory, in coordination with prefectures, municipalities and Civil Protection structures.
Operational forces remain on the ground and ready to intervene, with the priority being the protection of citizens' lives, homes and property .
