This is the moment of the arrest of Sokrat Vata, the 29-year-old who stabbed a 20-year-old French tourist to death in Ksamil.

29-year-old Sokrat Vata, from Hasi, was arrested in Levan, Fier, a few hours after he had left the scene. The "Eagle" forces and operational structures located the suspect, who was hiding in the trunk of a vehicle.

The perpetrator, Sokrat Vata, was hiding in the trunk of a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Turkish citizen, while a 38-year-old Turkish citizen was also traveling in the vehicle as a passenger.

The suspected perpetrator and the two Turkish citizens were escorted to the Vlora Police Station for further procedural actions.
