Belgium's Federal Public Prosecutor said on Tuesday that four people have been charged with active corruption and criminal organization and one person has been charged with money laundering.
The latter has been released on bail, but arrest warrants have been issued for the other four. The public prosecutor added that new searches were carried out on Monday at the European Parliament offices in Brussels.
