In North Macedonia, flags were lowered to half-mast on the first day of 7 days of national mourning.
Meanwhile, since Monday afternoon, protests by citizens outraged by the event began in the country.
Several protests took place in Kocani.
Protesters marched in front of the prosecutor's office and the city court, while dozens of them, in anger, stopped in front of one of the premises owned by the same person who owned the nightclub where the tragedy occurred.
They destroyed most of the premises and a vehicle allegedly belonging to the same person.
