Putin announces Chinese president's visit to Moscow in May

Vladimir Putin said today that he expects Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Russia on the occasion of the "Victory Day" celebrations on May 9.
"We are waiting for you in Russia on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, in World War II. We will celebrate this anniversary together the victory over Nazi Germany and the victory over militaristic Japan," Putin said at a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, whom he welcomed to the Kremlin.
During this meeting, Putin expressed his satisfaction with the development of relations between Russia and China.
“We want to express our satisfaction with the way our relations are developing, including with the direct support of our foreign ministries,” the Russian president said.
