'Russia is a danger to Europe'/ Von der Leyen: We must develop the military industry

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that Russia has expanded its military-industrial capacity, which, according to her, is a danger to Europe.

Von der Leyen stressed that Europe must develop strategic deterrence capabilities and invest in the military industrial base.

"Russia has significantly expanded its military-industrial production capacity.

This investment is fueling the war in Ukraine, while preparing it for future conflict with European democracies.

"Readiness in 2030 means being equipped and having developed the capabilities for credible prevention," Von der Leyen said.
