Support for producers/ Rama and Balluku visit the farm in Divjaka

Prime Minister, Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku were today at the "Vjen" farm in Divjaka.

This is another example of a family enterprise, where thanks to the work and support from AZHBR, a milk production and processing industry has been established.

One of the farm owners said that four years ago they had 1,050 heads of cattle, today they have 1,700, and projections are that in the next two years they will reach two thousand heads.

"We have tried to increase the number of heads, if we grow enough to have a large amount of food for most of the work and to have the food produced locally."

"We produce 19 tons of milk every day, and we sell it to the four main factories in Albania. We have made investments in wastewater treatment, with the help of IPARD and the Albanian government four years ago, we have gone from shepherds and farmers to farmers with information about each animal, in liters of milk, the activity carried out, etc.," said the entrepreneur.

For his part, Prime Minister Rama said that "the other innovation is the Bank of Albania's financing line of 250 million euros.

"You can access it freely because you are a big business, and with that the support becomes even greater. Plus, we have to make the leap, to enter the EU because 300 million euros come directly to us per year," said Rama.
