Murder of 45-year-old woman, victim told sister she was having an affair with a married man, but would break up because she was jealous

Greek media have released new details about the movements of 48-year-old Altin Allmuça before he killed his 45-year-old compatriot in Nea Smyrni and then ended his own life.

According to Protothema.gr, before leaving the house, the 48-year-old left his wife 1,000 euros, telling her to “keep saving money.” He then went to Nea Smyrni, where he killed the 45-year-old and immediately committed suicide.

The perpetrator's wife, who was called to testify, reportedly stated that for about 18 months she had noticed a significant change in his behavior.

As she said, the 48-year-old was often absent from home and had nights when he slept somewhere else, without her knowing where he was or if he was in a relationship with another woman.

At the same time, statements from Lulieta Obzova's environment are expected to shed more light on her relationship with the 48-year-old and especially on what preceded the crime.

According to information, the victim had confessed to her sister that she was in a relationship with a man, but from whom she had decided to break up due to his jealousy.

It is suspected that he had told her that he continued to insist and that she was afraid.

On the night of the murder, the 45-year-old was alone in her home. Her daughter was not in Athens, having gone to Agrinio with her uncle.

At the same time, the nature of the 48-year-old's relationship with the 45-year-old is under the police microscope, while his electronic devices are being examined in order to identify communications or other evidence that could complete the picture of what had preceded.

A crucial element is also the footage from security cameras in the area, which recorded the crime. According to information so far, the 48-year-old appears to have been waiting for the 45-year-old outside her home. When she opened the door and came out, he shot her and then turned the gun on himself and committed suicide.
