The request of life-sentenced prisoner Ardian Çapja to obtain permission to be present at his mother's funeral ceremony has been rejected for security reasons.
It is learned that the decision was made after the State Police did not take on the responsibility of guaranteeing security during the escort of Çapja outside the prison premises. The funeral of Çapja's mother was held today, at 2:00 PM, in Elbasan.
Sources indicate that the Prison Directorate has sent a request to the Police, asking if they would take over the escort and security of Çapja during his release from prison to attend the funeral.
