"Ukrainians and Albanians are war friends, not peace prostitutes"/ Majko takes out the photo with the Albanian flag from the Ukrainian Parliament

The statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who stated that his country has not changed its position on non-recognition of the state of Kosovo, was followed by a series of reactions online from well-known political figures, including Albanians.
The former Albanian Prime Minister during the Kosovo war, Pandeli Majko, has also reacted to this situation, writing confidently that despite recent statements, Ukrainians recognize Albanians as their allies. He adds that the friendship between Ukrainians and Albanians is not determined by what he calls diplomatic protocols.
"Despite President Zelensky's "conservative" declaration in Belgrade, during his last visit, I am convinced that Ukrainians have seen and see Albanians as their allies! The friendship and alliance of Albanians with Ukrainians is not determined by the "protocols of diplomacy"!
"This friendship is connected to the old Albanian diaspora which had its martyrs for the defense of Ukraine! It continues, today, with Albanian volunteers in uniform alongside the Ukrainian army!" writes Pandeli Majko next to the photo posted this Monday afternoon, which was taken in the Ukrainian parliament on the anniversary of the Russian aggression.
In concluding his reaction, Majko writes that his Ukrainian friends have contacted him, telling him that they are friends of war and not prostitutes of peace.
Pandeli Majko's reaction:
This is a photo in the Ukrainian parliament on the anniversary of the Russian aggression!
This is a photo taken from the hall, to show the pleasure with which the Albanian flag was received by those present!
There weren't many foreign delegations as news had circulated that the parliament building in Kiev might be hit on this day!
Despite President Zelenski's "conservative" declaration in Belgrade, during his recent visit, I am convinced that Ukrainians have seen and see Albanians as their allies!
The friendship and alliance of Albanians with Ukrainians is not determined by the "protocols of diplomacy"!
This friendship is connected to the old Albanian diaspora which had its own martyrs for the defense of Ukraine! It continues, today, with Albanian volunteers in uniform alongside the Ukrainian army!
War, for Albanians, separates friends from enemies!
Diplomacy has rightly been called the art of "lying" for reasons of state!
My Ukrainian friends have been communicating with me concerned about the recent event!
“We are friends of war, not prostitutes of peace” was the expression I liked the most, in English with a Ukrainian accent!…Of course!
