PSG fans boycott French Super Cup: LFP's decision is ridiculous

The situation has angered many of the Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP), who plan to boycott the French Super Cup (Trophée des Champions).

Following the LFP's decision to draw lots to determine whether the match will be played at PSG's or Lens' stadium, with the result in Lens' favor, the Parisian fans' group has decided not to travel to Bollaert-Delelis next Sunday.

In a statement released Sunday evening, the CUP (Collectif Ultras Paris) detailed its reasons: "We maintain our position; this type of match should be played on neutral ground, with an equal distribution of seats between supporters of both clubs."

They then harshly criticized the management of the LFP (Ligue de Football Professionnel), "whose incompetence is indisputable", they believe, and their "simply ridiculous decision" to use the draw to choose the venue of the match.
