If you have this blood type, you will age more slowly than others! Researchers
There are many factors, of course, that have been linked to the aging rates of any organism, both hereditary and environmental, but a new study, published in the journal "Planet Today," points to one that we may not have considered until now: our blood type.

In fact, experts considered various data to conclude that people with blood type B are more resistant to the aging process. Cell repair and tissue regeneration occur at a faster rate, delaying damage to the body, both internal and external.

The researchers emphasize, of course, that this does not change the crucial role played in aging by three other factors: exercise, diet, and stress management.

There is another study, from Japan, published in the journal "Experimental Gerontology", which links blood type B to a longer lifespan.

Others, however, show the opposite. One of them (BMC Medicine) links blood types A and B to a higher risk of death from cardiovascular disease, but also to a higher risk of stomach cancer.

The conclusion, as is usually the case in such cases? More studies are needed to confirm or refute this.

Regardless of our blood type, another study, from Stanford University, found that we age significantly during two periods of our lives: our mid-40s and early 60s.

The molecular changes that occur during these two phases may explain what we see as sudden signs of aging, such as wrinkles, sagging skin, gray hair, muscle and joint pain, and increased susceptibility to viral infections.

“The study explains why many people notice signs of aging so suddenly,” explains John White, a physician and former director of the FDA.
