US President Donald Trump will attend the G7 summit in France, which will be held from June 15 to 17, world media reported today, citing a White House official.

The leaders of the Group of Seven most developed economies, which consists of Germany, Canada, the United States, France, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom, will meet in the city of Evian, according to BFM TV.

The atmosphere at the summit is expected to be tense between the Republican billionaire and several heads of state and government, whose presence is expected in France, and the war in Iran is an additional source of tension between Trump and other G7 leaders.
