Alfons Qorllari, Lieutenant Colonel of the Armed Forces and lecturer at the College of Defense and Security, has passed away as a result of his battle with a serious illness.

The sad news was announced by colleagues at the Security College, who express respect and gratitude for his professionalism in the Armed Forces.

"With deep sorrow we learned the news of the passing of Lieutenant Colonel Alfons Qorllari, after a battle with a serious illness.

During his military career, he was distinguished for his dedication to professional training, pursuing numerous qualifications and trainings at home and abroad. These experiences enriched not only his training, but also the contribution he made to the education and preparation of new generations of military personnel.

People like him never go away completely. They remain in the memories of colleagues, trainees and all those who were lucky enough to know and work with him. They remain in the lessons they left behind and in the mark they left on the journey of the Armed Forces.

Today we lost a colleague, a teacher and a precious person. Honor and gratitude for everything he gave to the Armed Forces, for his professionalism and for the example he left behind.

"Rest in peace, Lieutenant Colonel! Sincere condolences to your family, relatives and colleagues," the announcement reads.

During his military career, Lieutenant Colonel Alfons Qorllari was distinguished for his dedication to professional training, pursuing numerous qualifications and trainings at home and abroad. Unfortunately, he was recently diagnosed with a serious illness, a battle he could not win, closing his eyes forever and leaving his family, colleagues, and many friends in sorrow.

The Defense and Security College (DSC) is an institution of the Armed Forces of Albania that provides education, training and qualification for military and civilian personnel. It plans and conducts career courses for the professional development of Albanian military personnel and those in the region.
