Ilir Meta again requests a change to the "prison arrest" measure, the Criminal Court of Appeals decides today

The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime will review this Monday the request filed by former President Ilir Meta.

The session is scheduled to be held at 3:30 p.m.

Meta has requested from the GJKKO to replace the security measure of "prison arrest" with a milder measure, on the grounds that the legal conditions to keep him in isolation no longer exist.

Meta has been in custody since his arrest by order of the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption (SPAK) on October 21, 2024, under suspicion of corruption, money laundering, failure to declare and conceal assets.
