The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was asked during a press conference this Monday about his upcoming visit to the United States of America. He explained that he does not yet have a visa from the American embassy in Tirana and claimed that he has not booked any specific meetings with American officials and politicians during his stay there.

Sali Berisha: No, let me clarify. The documents are at the American embassy and I have not booked any meetings.
I'm going, as you know, to Texas for the Republican Party conference for the midterm elections. I'm in a delegation from the International Democratic Union, a large delegation, which has been invited by the Republican Party, the main party in the IDU, to participate in this conference.
In addition, I have an invitation from a Republican institute.
